If you’ve ever wondered how I make a keychain for one of my themed stationery boxes, you can wonder no more! Check out this video I made to see how it all goes down:
I draw a digital design like I normally would, then print it out, trace it onto the shrink plastic, and cut it out. I then pop it in the oven for a few minutes, try to clean my oven door so you can actually see what’s going on, watch it do its funky little dance, then take it out and make sure it’s flat. Then I use resin to coat the plastic and make it durable. After the resin cures under a UV light, I add the keychain, and then it’s done!
This keychain design is part of my 80’s themed box, and I love the retro vibe and bright colors! I don’t have room for it on my keys at the moment, but I do have one hanging on my bulletin board.
